Aieza Bertolso’s UFC Contract Adds Intrigue, Not Yet a Betting Edge
The unbeaten 25-year-old earned her roster place with a first-round submission, but one archived bout and no booked opponent leave bettors with more questions than actionable evidence.
Aieza Bertolso entered Dana White’s Contender Series with an unbeaten record and left with a UFC contract after submitting Camila Reynoso in the first round on Sept. 29. The result moved Bertolso to 8-0 and established her as a new name to track at 115 pounds.
Cageside Press reported that Bertolso repeatedly practiced the finishing sequence during camp, adjusted after Reynoso’s initial defense and now wants a fast route toward UFC title contention. The ambition supplies the headline. The preparation behind the finish is the more relevant detail for bettors.
A rehearsed submission can reveal a real process: identify a position, force or recognize the opening, then change the mechanics when the first application fails. That is more informative than a purely opportunistic finish. It still does not establish that Bertolso can reliably create the same position against UFC opposition.
The résumé is clean, but the usable sample is thin
Bertolso is 25 years old, stands 5-foot-6 and has a listed 68-inch reach. Her professional record contains no losses, but the PropBetEdge archive currently holds only one of her eight fights: the Contender Series win over Reynoso.
That archived sample shows one victory, one submission, no decision and no knockout. Its nominal finish rate on wins is 100 percent, but that figure comes from a single archived bout and cannot be treated as a stable career tendency. It would be a mistake to convert it into a broad claim that Bertolso is consistently an early finisher or that submission is her dominant UFC-level route.

The missing detail matters. There are no round-level striking totals, takedown counts, control figures or submission-attempt rates in the database. Bertolso also has no established UFC career rates for significant strikes landed, significant strikes absorbed, striking defense, takedown accuracy or takedown defense.
