Alexander Hernandez’s RDA Stoppage Strengthens a Specific Finishing Case
Hernandez has produced three knockouts in his past four wins, but his broader numbers still demand an opponent-specific betting read.
Alexander Hernandez answered an April decision loss with the most recognizable win on his record, stopping Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 332 and moving to 19-9.
Cageside Press reported that Hernandez dropped dos Anjos early in the second round and secured the TKO at 3:12 after hurting him again during a stand-up sequence. The report also noted that dos Anjos removed his gloves afterward, although no retirement announcement followed.
For bettors, the result matters less as a name on Hernandez’s résumé than as another data point in a developing finishing pattern. He has now won four of his past five fights, with three of those victories coming by knockout or TKO. That run deserves attention in future method-of-victory and distance markets, but it does not erase the volatility underneath his career profile.
Hernandez’s recent wins have become more damaging
Hernandez’s five most recent results show a clear split. He beat Kurt Holobaugh by decision in March 2025, stopped Chase Hooper in the first round five months later, stopped Diego Ferreira in the second round the following month, lost a three-round decision to Rafa Garcia in April 2026 and then finished dos Anjos in Round 2.
That gives Hernandez three stoppages across his past four wins, all by strikes. The mechanism is important: this is not a submission threat creating chaotic scrambles or a control-heavy wrestler exhausting opponents before a late finish. Hernandez has recorded only one submission attempt across 41 tracked rounds, with no submission wins among his 11 UFC archive victories. His recent finishing case is built around damaging strikes.

The larger sample is more restrained. Across 19 archived bouts, Hernandez has six knockout or TKO wins and five decision wins. His 55 percent finish rate on victories is meaningful over 11 wins, but it does not describe an automatic finisher. He has still required the scorecards in nearly half of those victories.
