Anthony Wint’s latest first-round finish sharpens the prop case — and the sample-size warning
Wint has finished all three bouts in the PropBetEdge archive inside one round, but his prohibitive UFC 332 moneyline shows why dominance and betting value are different questions.
Anthony Wint’s UFC 332 win added another violent result to a résumé that has yet to require a second round. Cageside Press reported that Wint stopped debuting heavyweight Lucas Armand with punches just 23 seconds into the opening round.
The victory moved Wint to 8-0 and gave him three first-round finishes across the three bouts in the PropBetEdge archive. Two came by KO or TKO, with the other by submission. That is a compelling profile for future method-of-victory, total-rounds and fight-goes-the-distance markets.
It is not yet a dependable career baseline. Three archived fights remain a narrow sample, and the available round-level data cover only two bouts and two rounds. The result strengthens the evidence that Wint can create immediate danger; it does not tell bettors how his game holds up over an extended heavyweight fight.
The finish validated the outcome, not necessarily the moneyline
Wint entered UFC 332 at prices ranging from -525 at Bovada to -600 at BetMGM. The rest of the available board sat between those points: -535 at DraftKings, -550 at BetOnline.ag and Caesars, -560 at BetRivers and -590 at FanDuel.
Armand was available from +380 to +430 across the same group of sportsbooks. The market therefore demanded a substantial premium from anyone backing Wint outright. His rapid stoppage delivered the expected winner, but a dominant result cannot retroactively establish that every available price offered value.

That distinction matters for Wint’s next appearance. If another wide moneyline forms, bettors need to separate his probability of winning from the price required to buy that probability. This result provides more support for Wint’s ability to finish quickly than it does for laying any number attached to his name.
