Esteban Ribovics’ first-round TKO of King Green strengthens the case for his power markets
Back-to-back stoppages have changed Ribovics’ betting profile, but his defensive exposure and limited knockdown sample still demand restraint.
Esteban Ribovics needed one round to turn a clear pre-fight moneyline position into another statement finish at UFC 332.
BJPenn.com reported that Ribovics dropped King Green with a right hook, followed him with ground strikes and forced the stoppage after Green was sent down again. The official result gave Ribovics a first-round TKO and moved his record to 16-3.
The immediate betting consequence is not that every Ribovics knockout market now carries value. It is that bettors can no longer treat his recent stoppages as isolated events. He has stopped Green in the first round and Edson Barboza in the second round in consecutive appearances. Those results reinforce a striking profile already built on pace, head hunting and sustained offensive exposure.
They also create a predictable risk: the market may charge for the two newest finishes before answering whether Ribovics can reproduce them against a different style of opponent.
Ribovics’ pressure now has consecutive finishing results
Ribovics lands 7.43 significant strikes per minute with 43 percent accuracy. Across eight bouts with available round data, he has landed 678 significant strikes in 20 rounds. His target distribution is emphatic: 501 head strikes, 111 body strikes and 66 leg strikes.
That profile explains why the Green result matters mechanically. Ribovics does not need to build his offense around wrestling entries or prolonged control. He pressures through striking volume and directs most of that work upstairs, giving him repeated opportunities to produce a damaging connection. Against Green, one right hand changed the fight before follow-up offense closed it.

The Barboza and Green stoppages also came in different rounds, which matters for prop selection. Ribovics has now shown that his power can decide a fight immediately or after an opening round of work. A bettor considering Ribovics by KO/TKO should therefore distinguish between the broader method-of-victory market and a narrower round prop. The recent results support the finishing method more strongly than they support one exact finishing window.
