Esteban Ribovics’ quick return adds risk to a steep price against King Green
Ribovics brings superior pace and a 10-year age advantage to UFC 332, but Green’s defensive efficiency and broader offensive routes complicate a moneyline priced from -230 to -250.
Esteban Ribovics accepted his UFC 332 fight with King Green while on a family vacation in Orlando. Cageside Press reported that Ribovics took the offer immediately and said he was not injured, framing the matchup as an opportunity to face a recognizable veteran rather than a personal rivalry.
The vacation detail changes less for bettors than the accompanying numbers. Ribovics returns only 48 days after knocking out Edson Barboza in the second round. That gives him recent competitive activity, but the packet provides no camp length, acceptance date or evidence that the vacation interrupted a defined training cycle. His statement that he was healthy removes one obvious concern without proving ideal preparation.
The market has already made a forceful judgment. Ribovics is available from -230 at Caesars and DraftKings to -250 at BetRivers. Green ranges from +190 at Caesars, DraftKings and FanDuel to +200 at BetOnline.ag. At those prices, an interview about attitude should not move a bettor toward Ribovics. The relevant question is whether his pressure and output can consistently overcome Green’s cleaner defensive profile and secondary grappling options.
Ribovics’ pace is the central case for the favorite
Ribovics lands 7.43 significant strikes per minute, compared with Green’s 6.49. Across eight bouts with round data, Ribovics has landed 678 significant strikes over 20 rounds. His offense has leaned heavily toward the head: 501 of those strikes went upstairs, with 111 to the body and 66 to the legs.

That volume is the clearest mechanism supporting Ribovics. He does not need to turn this into a wrestling match to generate offense, and his recent record shows more than one path through a three-round fight. His nine archived bouts include six wins: three by knockout or technical knockout and three by decision. He has won three of his last five, stopping Barboza in the second round and taking decisions over Elves Brener and Daniel Zellhuber.
The danger is that activity and efficiency are not the same thing. Ribovics lands at 43% across his career and absorbs 5.74 significant strikes per minute. His striking defense stands at 54%. Green lands at 53%, absorbs 3.63 significant strikes per minute and owns 62% striking defense. If Green can make Ribovics miss while returning cleaner shots, raw volume may overstate the favorite’s control of the exchanges.

Nunes says old sparring sessions exposed persistent flaws, but the UFC 334 matchup will turn on whether her proven takedown defence survives a 1,229-day layoff.
