King Green’s finishing surge collides with a wide Ribovics moneyline at UFC 332
Green’s recent stoppages have changed his betting profile, but his longer record and the missing opponent-level data argue against treating that run as a complete reinvention.
King Green entered his UFC 332 lightweight fight with Esteban Ribovics on his longest winning streak in years and at plus money across every tracked sportsbook. MMA Fighting identified the matchup as a main-card bout and reported that Ribovics arrived off a second-round knockout of Edson Barboza in August.
The market still placed Green on the other side of a substantial price gap. At the latest observation, his odds ranged from +166 at FanDuel to +180 at BetMGM. Ribovics ranged from -198 at FanDuel to -220 at BetRivers and BetMGM.
That spread creates two separate questions. The first is whether Green’s four-fight winning streak materially changed how he wins. The second is whether the available evidence is strong enough to challenge a market asking bettors to lay close to 2-to-1 or better on Ribovics. Green’s data provides a useful answer to the first question, but the packet’s lack of an opponent profile prevents a confident answer to the second.
Green’s resurgence has been built on earlier endings
Green’s last four results were a decision over Lance Gibson Jr., a second-round knockout of Daniel Zellhuber, a first-round submission of Jeremy Stephens and a first-round knockout of Terrance McKinney. He returned against Ribovics only 85 days after the McKinney win.
The important change is not simply that Green won four straight. Three of those victories ended inside two rounds, and they came by both strikes and submission. That gives opponents more to solve than a veteran boxer trying to bank minutes behind pace and defense. It also shifts attention toward Green’s method-of-victory and round markets whenever those prices assume his historical decision tendency remains dominant.

But the larger sample resists a full rewrite. Across 31 archived bouts, Green has 17 wins: nine by decision, five by knockout or TKO and three by submission. His finish rate across those wins is 47 percent. The recent three-finish streak is meaningful form, but it is still a three-fight sequence layered on top of a career sample in which decisions remain his most common winning method.
