Jai Herbert’s Two-Win 2026 Run Expands His Prop Profile — Without Erasing the Risk
Herbert followed a first-round knockout with a three-round decision, giving bettors two distinct win conditions to weigh when his next matchup arrives.
Jai Herbert has turned 2026 into his first two-fight winning streak across the 11 bouts in our UFC archive. The 38-year-old lightweight stopped Mandel Nallo in the first round in April, then defeated Matheus Camilo by unanimous decision on Oct. 10 to move his overall record to 15-6-1.
BJPenn.com highlighted Herbert’s post-fight view that Camilo’s loaded-up punches drained him and allowed Herbert to raise his output late. That explanation matters more than the generic fact of consecutive wins: Herbert’s latest result came through sustained work over three rounds, six months after he demonstrated an immediate finishing route.
There is no next opponent or bout attached to Herbert, so there is no actionable price or current wager. The useful work is defining what his latest run should—and should not—change when the next market opens.
Herbert has won through two different mechanisms
The Nallo and Camilo results resist a simple label. One ended by first-round knockout or TKO; the other required all three rounds and the scorecards. Herbert’s previous three bouts also went the distance, producing unanimous-decision wins over Rolando Bedoya and Camilo around decision losses to Farés Ziam and Chris Padilla, the latter by split decision.
That recent mix puts fight-duration markets at the center of any future assessment. Four of Herbert’s last five fights reached the cards, but the exception was a first-round finish. Treating him as purely a distance fighter would ignore both the Nallo result and the six knockdowns recorded across 27 tracked rounds. Treating the knockout as proof of a new early-finishing baseline would be just as aggressive.

Across five wins in the 11-bout archive, Herbert has two knockouts or TKOs and three decisions. His 40% finish rate on wins is therefore based on only five victories, not a large career sample. It is better used to describe his available routes than to project a standalone probability.
