Katlyn Cerminara’s First UFC Finish Challenges a 50-Round Betting Profile
The head-kick knockout matters, but Cerminara’s deep decision history still sets the baseline until her new approach survives a larger sample.

Katlyn Cerminara returned from a long absence with the most unusual result of her UFC career: a first-round knockout.
Cageside Press reported that Cerminara came back after two years away and the birth of her daughter, stopped Mackenzie Stiller with a head kick, had recently moved to a new camp and wanted another fight as soon as possible while healthy. The result lifted her record to 19-6 and interrupted a run of three consecutive decisions, including losses to Maycee Barber and Manon Fiorot.
For bettors, the temptation will be to treat the finish as evidence of a transformed offensive threat. That conclusion runs well ahead of the data. Cerminara entered the Stiller fight with one of the clearest decision profiles in the division, and one clean knockout does not erase 50 rounds of evidence.
The knockout is an outlier until the process repeats
Cerminara has gone 12-6 across 18 archived UFC bouts. Eleven of those 12 wins came by decision. The Stiller knockout was her only KO or TKO win in that sample, giving her an 8% finish rate across her victories. She has no submission wins in the archive.
The broader fight history points in the same direction. Cerminara has been finished twice, meaning 15 of her 18 archived bouts reached the scorecards. That is the durable baseline relevant to fight-goes-the-distance, total-round and method-of-victory markets whenever her next booking arrives.
The mechanism behind that history is more important than the headline result. Across 50 tracked rounds, Cerminara has landed 1,136 significant strikes but recorded only two knockdowns. Her career rate sits at 4.58 significant strikes landed per minute, with 34% accuracy. She has typically accumulated touches rather than converted individual connections into immediate fight-ending damage.
