Luana Santos’ Fourth Straight Win Sharpens Her Grappling Betting Profile
Santos beat Yana Santos by unanimous decision, reinforcing a control-heavy path that matters more for future round and method markets than for chasing short moneyline prices.

Luana Santos extended her winning streak to four with a unanimous-decision victory over Yana Santos on Oct. 31, moving her record to 12-2 and adding another three-round result to a rapidly changing finishing profile.
Cageside Press reported that the opening round was competitive before Luana repeatedly grounded Yana over the final two rounds, advanced to dominant positions and resumed control whenever Yana escaped. The result itself was familiar. The route was the useful part for bettors: Santos did not need sustained striking superiority or a finish to separate herself.
That matters because the pre-fight market had already priced Santos as a substantial favorite. Her moneyline ranged from -290 at FanDuel to -335 at BetRivers, with Yana available between +225 and +260. A bettor laying that price needed Santos to win at a high frequency. The unanimous decision delivered, but it also showed why future value may sit in markets that describe how she wins rather than merely whether she wins.

Santos is building a control-first decision profile
Santos has won seven of the eight fights in our archive. Four of those victories came by decision, two by submission and one by knockout or technical knockout. Her listed 43% finish rate applies only to those seven archived wins and should not be treated as a broader career guarantee.
The more immediate trend is clearer. Three of her four consecutive victories have gone to unanimous decision: Yana Santos, Karol Rosa and Melissa Croden. The other was a second-round submission of Tainara Lisboa. Santos has therefore shown two connected paths during the streak. She can use grappling to create submission opportunities, but she can also bank rounds through repeated entries, positional advancement and control when the finish does not arrive.
